The snob in me surfaced a few weeks ago.  I convinced myself that I deserved a luxury makeup item.  After all, I am pretty sure my last luxury makeup (not beauty tools) was a Chanel Ombré Eyeshadow in 2013.  I wanted an eyeshadow palette which I could use everyday and feel loved and special.  This is why I chose the Burberry Pink Taupe.

Long ago, when makeup life was very simple and only consisted of a few products and simple beauty tools of sponges and sponge tip applicators, the pros or makeup artists shopped at the art stores for their makeup brushes.  The shape of these brushes reflected the needs of the painters more than the makeup artist. When Aldona drew this picture, I found it to be a great introduction to two more Viseart eyeshadow palettes.  Both are matte but are at the opposite ends of the color spectrum; one is bright and colorful and the other is cool and neutral.

There are some makeup lines which deserved a great presence in the makeup field.  Take for example Sue Devitt Cosmetics.  Sue Devitt is an Australian makeup artist who got her start with Francois Nars.  Later, she created her own full line of very wearable colors named after exotic locales around the world.
